Draekon Fire: Exiled To The Prison Planet by Lee Savino
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Crazy jungle planet. Killer orange fungus. Crimson snakes in the water. The worst part? While I was in a coma, I seem to have acquired two dragon mates.
When I wake from my coma, the first thing I see are two hot aliens.
And I’m informed that they’re my mates.
I don’t think so.
This isn’t the story of Sleeping Beauty, and the two sexy, possessive Draekons aren’t my fairy tale princes.
I’m certainly not going to wake up, kiss them, and live happily ever after on this stupid prison planet, where everything’s out to kill me.
Not happening.
Not even if they heal me from my injuries and nurse me back to health.
Not even if they protect me, care for me, and keep me safe.
Not even if their abs could grace the cover of every men’s fitness magazine back home.
Sleeping Beauty isn’t going to kiss her Draekons. She’s going to find a way back home.
Draekon Fire
Rainy season on the prison planet!

The heroine: Harper – she is one of the women who volunteered to be used in medical experiments by the Zoraht Empire in exchange for the empire giving earth the cure to cancer. She was dying in a coma for weeks until she awakens to find two Draekons who say she is their mate.
The Heroes: Dennox and Vulrux – Vulrux is a favored cousin of Arax the firstborn son of the empire. Sixty years ago, Vulrux stormed the science division to determine what they were doing on the lower levels and he found Dennox and another female being experimented on. As soon as he and Dennox saw the woman, they both changed into Dragons. Raiht’vi was an apprentice and she told the guards to Kill the female in order to get the men to change back to human. They don’t know that it was Raiht’vi and Vulrux wants revenge despite knowing that Harper is a potential mate for them.
The Story: Dennox and Vulrux have issues from their past, least of which is a mind wipe. They know of what happened sixty years ago when their mate was killed but don’t know that it was Raiht’vi that ordered the death. After that happened, they were exiled to the prison planet and now the ship carrying both Raiht’vi and their new mate, Harper crash landed on the planet and Harper gets poisoned by a fungus.
The story is told in multiple points of view by three different narrators Misty Dawn, Ry Forest & Jasper Woodcock. They did a great job and it is nice to have three narrators, though I wish it was done in duet narration or like a full cast audiobook where each narrator does their own parts no matter whose POV the chapter is in.
