Stalk Her by Ker Dukey. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stalk Her by Ker Dukey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ever get that feeling you’re being watched?

You probably are.

Her sad eyes.

Her thick lips.

Her long dark hair.

Her quickening of breath.

Her hurried footsteps.

Her undiluted fear.

The anxiety a woman has when she knows she’s being followed does something to the sadistic animal inside me.

We all have issues, mine just run a little deeper than most.

My sister and I had a childhood tarnished by an abusive parent.

We grew up two very different breeds of our mother’s creation.

Then I discover the beautiful, yet broken, Alice Young.

She’s seeking advice, a place to unburden her thoughts.

What she gets is a dangerous, callous predator who wants to quench his thirst with her tears.

My precious, Alice, feels so alone, but she’s not alone.

I’m watching her.

I feed on the fear of others.

Alice Young may prove to be too damaged, even for my appetite.

Stalk Her

Unpredictable!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚💙❤️🧡
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📘📗📕📙📘
World building: 🌏🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

The Hero(s):Erik – abused as a child by his mother and the men she brought into the house, Erik used his sister’s fear to lessen his own. Now he lives off creating fear in women, by following them, stalking them and more. He founded a company with his college roommate and became rich, he has a fiancé in order to appear normal.

The heroine: Alice – her mother is slowly dying and she just wants to get out and go away to college. Though they can’t afford it. She has been bullied in school because she was doing things with Reese, the most popular guy in school and his girlfriend didn’t like it. Though nobody knew that she was being bribed by him to get his father to give her a scholarship. Though Reese was playing her for a fool.

The Love Story: Alice emails a company called Anonymous when she is at a low point in her life and the company is owned by Erik’s sister Ebony. Erik is in Ebony’s office and intercepts the email, he then becomes obsessed with Alice.

I am not sure I like Alice in this one, she is a bit of a skank trying to get money for college. I don’t care if the heroine isn’t a virgin but I don’t like it when they are a prostitute. I can understand being in desperate financial straits, but for college you can always take out student loans like the rest of us. There is no need to resort to whorishness.

Though I loved Erik. There is something to be said about crazy guys that own their craziness. When they think, say or do things that are so out there, but in the most matter-of-fact way like it is something anyone would do, it is just hilarious to me. Erik was really good at justifying his crazy stalkishness as normal behavior.

I want to talk about that ending because it was spectacular and I never in a million years would have expected what happened. Though I won’t give away spoilers, but I am giving this one a 5 for how much it surprised me.
