All the Truths by Rina Kent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars.
The truth doesn’t set you free.
Revenge shouldn’t be rushed. It needs to be savored.
Reina ruined my life and it’s only fair I ruin hers back.
Or that was the plan.
That was before she got under my skin and flowed into my blood.
Life as we know it crashes and burns.
All we have left is revenge. All The Truths
Or is it?
Spectacular! I finished an hour ago and still steam is coming out of my kindle!
The perfect conclusion to All The Lies. All of my questions were answered and the book was so sizzling hot I nearly burnt my fingers while holding my kindle. I loved the characters of Reina and Asher. The fact that they had an undeniable attraction to each other was just great. More than that, they have a connection that both of them tried to deny but just couldn’t and both of them always ended up coming back to each other.
Asher definitely had more than one reason to hate Reina. She had cheated on him while she was engaged to him. When they were younger they were friends and even on there way to falling in love when all the sudden she pushed him away and became cold and he never knew why, then finally he blames her for driving his little sister to committing suicide. Since Ash was the only one with his sister at the time he is the only one that knows why he thinks that Reina had anything to do with it and he isn’t saying what he knows.
Reina’s memories have not all returned, they are coming back bit by bit so she still doesn’t have any clue if she had done anything to Arianna, so she is unable to defend herself. But she knows that she can’t stay away from Asher and he can’t stay away from her. She loves the way he makes her feel. Rina Kent can write dark erotic romance so well. Ash has such feelings of guilt because he wants Reina so bad and he feels he has to hate her for his little sister. Though he has wanted and has been obsessed with Reina for a long time before his sister died.
I really like books with hot alpha males like Asher. He dominant and manly and wanted to fight any guy that hurt her or looked at her funny. I would hate that in real life but I think it is kind of cute in books! Especially when a guy gets all growly and “you’re mine” and all that. This book was quite a bit more steamy than the first book, but I liked that.
However, even with all the romantic scenes there was still quite a bit of story. There was the storyline about Asher’s sister and his reasons for returning to the US. There was the storyline about Reina getting beat up and losing her memory at the beginning of book one, and the fact that she cheated on Asher and was still getting text messages from the guy. Plus there were a few other surprises along the way. It was such a good book. I can’t wait to read Rina Kent’s next book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
