Now Open Your Eyes by Nicole Fiorina
My rating: 5 of 5 stars.
ETHAN.
I’d spent my last two years devising and perfecting this plan.
A plan Mia was never apart of, but she was a storm.
And you can’t expect anything from a storm.
Perhaps the reason I allowed her to distract my monster to begin with.
I just never thought she would become an addiction until it was too late.
But there was still one thing left to do, and time was ticking.MIA.
It was so close, I could almost taste it, but the only thing I could taste now was the end.
Over the last two years, I’d let all outside forces dictate my life, my feelings, my head.
I’d allowed everyone to control what my punishment should be for all my wrong-doings.
I’d been tested and learned my lesson.
I’d paid my dues and suffered long enough.
Because in the end,
even the once-upon-a-damned deserved to be happy too.
OLLIE.
How far are you willing to go?
I’d asked myself this very question countless times.
But never in my wildest dreams thought I’d go back in time,
chasing ghosts from my past for a chance to save our future.
So, there was no limit.
No boundaries.
I’d cross time, the world, my morals.Yes, I’d even double-cross myself.
So, how far would I go?
The answer had always been simple.
Now Open Your Eyes
I’d go an eternity plus a day past crestfallen.
An awesome ending to Ollie and Mia’s soul stirring story!

This book was another great addition to the Ollie and Mia heart wrenching emotion filled true love/soul mates story. As readers of this series we have known from the very beginning that they were drawn to each other like neither has ever been drawn to anyone before. Mia thought she was a sociopath and couldn’t have feelings until she started to feel something for Ollie. Ollie had times when he would be with any woman that was available.
However once Ollie and Mia saw each other, they were bound together. Though they had bad times when Ollie was put back on his medication and he would completely change and forget his love for Mia and he would completely ignore her. His hypersensitivity sometimes made him act out when he was feeling too much emotions from himself and other people and couldn’t handle it and the people at Dolar responded by medicating him. Though the medication did keep him calm, it blocked all emotions so he wasn’t himself.
When you think about it, how can he ever learn to live in the real world and prepare to handle all the emotions of people on a day to day basis if they medicate him at Dolar to keep him calm? That is where he should have been learning, but it took quite a while to get off the medication. During that time Mia had become friends with Ethan, the Security Guard at Dolar. Though he never told her that he was hired by her biological father, Lynch who runs Dolar. She still thinks her father is the guy in New York who she grew up with.
Ethan told her about his sister Livy but he never told her that he was also here to get revenge on the four boys who raped her, killing her and her baby and framing her boyfriend for the murder. Ethan has been slowly killing them off one by one and making them look like suicides.
This book has the same types of ups and downs that the first two books had. Of course Ollie and Mia can’t have an easy life together. Graduation day from Dolar comes and goes and their plans to move in together don’t go as they expected. I won’t give away spoilers except to say that it is a wild ride. Mia is still trying to find her place in the world and Ollie knows exactly what he wants but just can’t seem to get things to work out right.
I totally loved every minute of this book. It was full of suspense, steam and romance. When I saw that one of the upcoming books is about Ethan, I can’t wait! I love books about killers that fall in love! This series was so terrific that I just want more as soon as I can get them!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
