Broken Hill Halo (Broken Hill High, #2). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Broken Hill Halo by Sheridan Anne

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I never expected Nate Ryder to change my life the way he did.

Hell, I never expected to fall in love with the one guy who made my life a living hell for five years, but here I am. He’s the perfect example of something I never knew I needed.

He’s my rock. My salvation. He’s exactly what I need when my life goes up in flames.

I thought the worst was over. I thought I was safe to move on from the horrors of the past few weeks, but I have never been so wrong.

If I knew my life would spiral out the way it did, I would have just stayed in bed with the covers pulled right over my head, but this time, it’s not only my life spiraling out of control. It’s theirs.

Nobody messes with my boys except for me.

This time it means war.

This time I’m pulling up my big girl panties.

This time they’ll learn not to mess with Tora Roberts and the Ryder brothers.

This time we’re putting them down and that’s where they’re going to stay.

Broken Hill Halo

So awesome. I was clapping and cheering out loud.

This second installment was much better than the first. So much happened and I don’t want to give much away but it was hilarious for one, it had triumphant moments, it had suspense, romance, crazy unpredictable plot twists and surprises.

“She slept with Puck two nights ago.”
“What?” Brooke shrieks. “Since when? I didn’t even know you were interested in him.”
“I know,” Courtney groans as she slaps her hands over her face in embarrassment. “It just kind of happened.”
“Oh, you mean, you slipped and fell, and his dick just happened to land in your vag? Over and over again?”
“Well… kind of.”

Nate’s rival from the local private school who hit on Tora in the last book has now transferred to Broken Hill High and is causing all sorts of chaos. Also Josh Henderson, the guy who attacked Tora and was kicked out of school is back. He is at the private school now but shows up at parties and football games threatening Tora when Nate isn’t around.

There is also family drama in both of their families. So many things leading up to an explosive ending. I loved it.
