3.5 Stars, rounded up to 4. This book had a good storyline, though not very original and was not too intense in the BDSM and D/s activity so I really enjoyed it. Jacey was running away from an abusive ex husband and meets Derrick, a Wealthy Dom who has been getting a bit bored at the BDSM club recently. They meet at the scene of an accident where they are both witnesses and go to a diner afterward.
I like this because it seems like a lot of the BDSM I have read before have women coming straight from abusive or even rape situations and then right away seem to be fine with a Dom whipping them or something similar. In this book, she is very reluctant to trust, and won’t agree to anything like that. It takes her a while to agree to a sexy spanking.
The romance between the two main characters is very hot and the D/s parts are steamy. The story about her ex and his brother is good as well though that has been done before.
