Review: Darkness and Debauchery (Desire Aforethought, #3). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Darkness and Debauchery by Kyra Alessy

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Five cruel sex demons who have fallen hard. One woman who may not be human. Enemies who know she’s not …

I thought I knew who the bad guys were. Turns out I was dead wrong, but so were the Iron I’s and now everything has gone straight to hell.

Vic, Sie, Theo, and Paris are missing. Metro City is a smoking shell. And I’m stuck with the demon who hates me the most in the middle of freaking nowhere. Oh, and Vic’s creepy dad has his sights set on the human girl who runs with the Iron Incubi MC.

They say I’m not human, but they don’t have a clue. I’m as human as they come. I mean, I think I *might* have accidentally killed two guys with my mind, but, trust me, they totally had it coming.

All I want to do is find the demons I’ve grown to care about and shake off the ones I don’t.

Korban is keeping me in a gilded cage and he’s decided I need to be protected at all costs, but I’m Jane Mercy, mofo! I’m a neuro-spicy human and I don’t stay anywhere I don’t want to be. As far as I’m concerned, my contract with the Iron I’s is null and void.

Now I just need to figure out where I am and how to escape Korban. I’m going to go find the others, avoid the weirdos who want me for who knows what, and live happily ever after!

Because, after everything I’ve been through, I deserve it!

Darkness and Debauchery

Terrific end to the trilogy!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💚💜
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 😊😘😟🤓

The heroine: Jane – she has just found out something totally unexpected about herself and it changes everything. She has always been autistic and has known she was different her entire life, but she finally found a group of guys who accepted her for who she is. The trouble was that she is a human and they are supes. Incubi who think she is nothing more than food to them.

The Heroes: Vic, Theo, Paris, Sie and Korban – The Iron Incubi MC. They are incubus demons who feed from the sexual energy of human females.
Vic – he is the President of the Iron Incubi MC, and he didn’t trust Jane which led him to hurt her over and over.
Theo – he is the club doctor. He has all the feels and has stood by Jane more than the others.
Paris – he is an arrogant flirt, but he is one of the first to think something wasn’t right and to stand with Jane.
Sie – he was going mad, and Jane saved him. He was the first to suspect that Jane might be more than she seemed.
Korban (a.k.a. Kor) – he is a stone-cold killer and a fighter, he took clues at face value and believed that Jane betrayed them. He also is afraid he might hurt her if he is alone with her.

The Story: This book starts out with a lot of action right out of the gate and doesn’t slow down one bit. It is hard to say much without giving away any spoilers because so much of what happens in this book is about the secrets and the past coming to light. Though from the start of the book Jane and Korban are separated from the rest of the guys and the Iron Incubi clan doesn’t come back together quickly in this one.

I liked that so much of the past is revealed in this one, a lot of it was alluded to in the first two books, like the reason Korbin was the way he was and why he needed Paris there with him when he first fed from Jane, Vic’s relationship with his father, Sie’s past with The Order and Jane’s father Don Foley. Plus, we learn a lot more about Maddox and his clan who have a series of their own, which I now can’t wait to read.
