Psycho is as psycho does…
Grave Misconduct
As if falling for the ghosts of four murdered gangsters wasn’t crazy enough, it turns out we’ve got a real live supervillain on our hands. One with mysterious powers that reach way farther than we could have imagined.
And that villain has torn my sister away from me.
I’ll stop at nothing to bring her back and see my men get the vengeance they deserve. It’s just a little hard to win a war when you’re not really sure what kind of monster you’re up against. Or how many you’re up against, for that matter.
There’s a whole new dimension to my own powers that I’m only just starting to uncover—one that could level the playing field. But what if tapping into it makes me just as much of a monster as the pricks we’re up against?
Powerful supernatural abilities from the marsh!

Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine: Lily – she was in a psych ward for seven years and only thought of protecting her sister. Now that she is out, she has gone through a bunch of new hell. From being bullied at college, to bullied right out of her new job. Her only thought was to reclaim the memories she lost and make sure her sister is safe. Her four guys will help with that.
The Heroes: Nox, Kai, Ruin, Jett – They were motorcycle gang members before they died, and as ghosts Lily was the only person that could hear or see them. When Lily got out of the psych ward, they murdered four guys and possessed their bodies, so now they are back.
Nox – he is the leader of the gang and a dominant decision maker. He has the power to pack a supernatural punch.
Kai – he is brilliant and does research on everything. He has supernatural mind power.
Ruin – he is cuddly and vicious. He has the power over electricity.
Jett – he is a man of few words, a broody grump and an artist. He has the power to change the design or color of things.
The Story: so much happened in the last book, as both lily and the gang set out to find out what happened in the past. Lily finally got her memories back, and though it helped her to make sure that she wasn’t a danger to her sister, she soon found out that something even darker is out there. The guys have also found a key to their pasts and who murdered them, though the ones at fault won’t be easy to overcome either.
So far I like how this series has been laid out. There has been a lot that happened in each of the first two books, but there is so much more ground to cover and the relationships between Lily and her guys have progressed. All of them want her and all of them are extremely protective of her and just want to make her life better. Though there are still relationship issues to work through. But I really love how they treat her.
I liked that they had all gotten much better at their supernatural abilities and even the ones that don’t seem to be that dangerous have a way of working out for the best and being valuable to the team. Though as the group finds out more about what is going on, I found them not always asking questions that I would ask in the same situation which could lead to them finding out more. I hate when that happens. I sit yelling at the characters for being so dumb. Like in horror movies when you yell at the characters to not go up the stairs.
This audiobook was told in multiple points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Hollie Jackson and Joe Arden. I have listened to many books by each of these narrators and they are both great. Hollie is terrific at showing her emotions through her voice and Joe has a deep raspy voice which is sexy, and I love anything he narrates.
