Audiobook Review: Draekon Fever (Dragons in Exile, #6). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Draekon Fever: Exiled to the Prison Planet by Lee Savino

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Once upon a time, two dragons saved the virgin…

Being the only virgin on the prison planet isn’t so bad. No, actually, it totally sucks!

There are two Draekons who are interested in me. Well, I thought they were, but they keep blowing hot and cold. They won’t make a move. It’s infuriating!

Whatever!

I have no use for broody aliens. None at all. No matter how gorgeous they are. No matter how much my insides tingle when they touch me…

Then it turns out that the Draekons have a very good reason for staying away. Because they’re ill with the fever, and it will kill them unless I can find a cure!

This time, the virgin is going to save her two dragons!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜🤎❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 🤐🤫🫣☺️

The heroine: Sofia – She is a Doctor and thirty year old virgin and I don’t think she was mentioned more than once in the previous books from this series until the novella. Sofia grew up with only her grandmother and when her grandmother died, she volunteered to be one of the ten women to go into space with the Zoraht and ended up on the prison planet.

The Heroes: Rorix and Ferix – they are suffering from ‘Dragon Fever’ because they know Sofia is their mate, but are determined not to claim her. Since Barax is of the same ‘house’ as Ferix. Barax turned traitor to the empire and crash landed the spaceship containing the women onto the prison planet. If someone commits a crime against the empire, their entire house is considered culpable and will be punished.

The Story: Things are getting interesting on the prison planet, with more spaceships having landed on the planet filled with soldiers looking for the scientist Raiht’vi and the human women. The planet is surrounded by an asteroid belt so most ships that try to get close or land on the planet end up crashing with many of the occupants dying.

The narration was done by Misty Dawn, Ry Forest and Jasper Woodcock like most of the series. I enjoy each of their voices and they work well for this series. The book was told in multiple points of view, and each narrator does all the voices within the chapters that are in their characters point of view.

I am really enjoying this series. The Dragons are hot and the intimate scenes are super steamy. I love that each of the women has a different story and that the storylines going through the series keep changing but are related and moving everything on the planet forward. Now there are new characters being introduced (the soldiers) and a lost city of Draekons that have possibly been on the planet for over 1000 years.
