Alien Knight Blind Date Disaster by Becca Brayden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Honorable Lumerian Knight Falden Corshivad has sacrificed everything for his people. Legend even among his own kind, he has vowed to protect and preserve all that is left of their ancient heritage. Keep their existence hidden from the enemies that destroyed his planet. Enemies that continue to hunt for survivors.
…
Falden knows the recent attack on Earth was meant to flush the Lumerian Knights out of hiding. So, when Isabella Serrano, a nosy investigative reporter, starts digging a little too deeply into the recent events, he knows that for the safety of everyone, he must do whatever it takes to find out what she knows. Stop her from revealing the Knights at any cost. Even seduce her.
…
Unfortunately, Falden has spent the past two thousand years out of the dating scene. And worse, he has no understanding of human courting rituals. Luckily, his most trusted Knights have found the perfect guide in a popular men’s blog; “The Nice Guy’s Guide to the Hook-Up.” Results guaranteed! He will follow the instructions to the letter, even if every single one of the items on the list goes against his honor and belief as a Knight. He will win this woman over and seduce her into revealing her secrets.

With help from “The Nice Guy’s Guide to the Hook-Up”, what could possibly go wrong?
Alien Knight Blind Date Disaster
Aliens on Earth!
The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 🫣☺️😎😯
The heroine: Isabella – a reporter who has been reporting on the attack on Earth by the Vilatos, who are usually the scouting agents for much worse aliens. She was currently looking into the black market for aliens.
The Hero: Falden – The leader and strongest of the Lumerian Knights. They are a secret unit of fighters and are the best fighters in the world. After their planet was destroyed and the Lumerians left started getting picked off one by one by their enemies, they went into hiding and have been so for centuries.
The Story: Falden meets Isabella at a bar trying to act as her contact on the black market. However, he is only posing as the contact, so he needs to romance her into giving up her secrets. To do so, he takes tips from an online blog on how to hook-up with women. As you can expect, this led to some very humorous situations.
I was a bit surprised by this one after reading the first two books, because though they had a few bits of humor, they were nothing like this one. I was laughing out loud more than once and I was really enjoying every minute of it. This book was super steamy as most alien romances are, though I could see a lot of duplication in the intimate scenes as in the prior books. Though the fact that the Heroes are all dominant aliens may account for that.
Like the first two books, this one was narrated by Teddy Hamilton and though I usually don’t give more than 4 points for narration when there is only one narrator, I am giving this one the full five since I enjoyed it so much. Teddy Hamilton did the humor so well.
