Audiobook Review: Alien Knight Steals the Bride (Lumerian Knights, #2). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alien Knight Steals the Bride by Becca Brayden

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lumerian Knight Torrin Llahsab has spent months as a prisoner of the evil Vilitos with one goal, a single purpose…survive, escape, track an ancient artifact before it can be used to destroy more of his people. When an opportunity comes at last, he is moments from stealing an enemy ship and making his escape when he sees a beautiful human woman, bound and gagged, being tormented by the evil guards. Weak and injured, he risks everything to save the female. He is a protector. A defender. It’s what he is to his core and he cannot simply walk away…

Light years from Earth, Nurse Juliette Rosen is having one hell of a bad week. Captured by aliens, put in chains and flown light years from home, she’s sure she’s going to end up as a science experiment, or worse. Until a gorgeous stranger risks everything to save her, nearly dying to break her free of the enemy ship. He’s beautiful, strong, and mortally wounded.

The desire she feels is undeniable, but now it’s her turn to risk everything. Her life. Her freedom. The wild black market on an unknown alien world. And worst of all, the evil plans of a murderous alien ruler determined to take her as his next bride…and his next victim.

Will her knight protector be able to steal the bride before it’s too late?

Alien Knight Steals the Bride

Super steamy with a scintillating story!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚💜🤎❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: 🫣☺️😎😯😍

The heroine: Juliet – a nurse who recently started working on the Caldorian base on Earth when it is attacked and she is taken prisoner by the lizard faced Vilitos, who are enemies to the Caldorians. Juliet grew up on the streets after her father died and she couldn’t stay with a mother who didn’t care about anything but her own sorrow.

The Heroes: Torrin – He grew up as a Caldorian, but has always wanted to be a Lumerian knight, he had heard the stories of how they were the best fighters in the Galaxy. He has a brother, Sevron and they are mirror twins, which means they can feel each other’s pain.

The Story: Torrin had been a captive of the Vilitos on one of their ships for months on end. Tortured and near death, he finally gets his chance to escape and during the escape he comes across Juliet. They get away together but barely.

The book is told in dual points of view and narrated by Teddy Hamilton. I really like his voice and he is perfect for books like this. He does steamy scenes like nobody’s business. He is one of my favorite narrators. Though I will still take a point off for only having one narrator.

The story was good and compelling. Torrin had always wanted to be a Lumerian Knight, even though he is a Caldorian, and now is one. He doesn’t know that in truth he is actually Lumerian. Once away from the Vilitos, Torrin has to continue on with the mission he was on before he was captured. Juliet wants to go with him, she just has to convince him to let her.
