Audiobook Review: Crush (Crave, #2). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Crush by Tracy Wolff

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jaxon and Grace’s story continues in ‘New York Times’ best-selling author Tracy Wolff’s captivating sequel to ‘Crave’.

I’m in the fight of my life. For my humanity. For Jaxon. And for the world I’ve only just begun to be a part of. I’m all in, even if saving the people I love means I risk losing myself forever.

The heroine(s): Grace – After her parents were killed in a car accident, she went to live with her uncle and cousin at a boarding school in Alaska for Vampires, Witches, Dragon shifters and Wolf Shifters.

The Hero(s): Jaxon – He is the strongest Vampire in existence and he killed his older brother who was evil and wanted to take over all supernatural creatures and basically rule the world.

The Story: Jaxon and Grace are mates. What happened at the end of the last book, Crave has lasting implications in this book. The two face a lot of trials in this book. Crave was a bit slow going at times, but Crush put boots to the ground from the start.

I loved all the action in this one. It seemed that Grace and her group of friends kept jumping from the frying pan into the fire and back throughout the entire book. I loved all the supporting characters especially Macy, Javier and Hudson. I was so glad Flint and Grace made up in this book and Flint was a big part of the book as well.

The romance was crazy. There was a a triangle which I hated at times and loved at times and I kept going back and forth as to what I wanted to happen and who I wanted Grace to love. Jaxon was a good boyfriend/mate and more understanding than I expected for a possessive vampire, but I had a bit of a soft spot for the other guy and I am sure that is what the author wanted.

Like Crave, this book was quite long. 18+ hours in audio format, but I liked all the action and adventure and it kept my attention throughout the book. I think audio format did well on this one and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
