Audiobook Review: Ice Planet Barbarians (Ice Planet Barbarians, #1). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

You’d think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you’d be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they’ve left their cargo of human women– including me– on an ice planet. And the only native inhabitant I’ve met? He’s big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me…

Ice Planet Barbarians

Sexy alien goodness!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
Romance: 💋💋💋💋
Heat/Steam: 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌕🪐☄️🌎
Character development: 👽🏀🥶😨🥰

The heroine: Georgie – She is abducted by little green aliens and finds herself in a cell with other human women being guarded by tall aliens with heads the same color and texture as basketballs. Georgie finds herself the de facto leader of the group of women when she comes up with a plan to overtake the basketball heads.

The Hero(es): Vektal – The leader of a clan of Ice Planet Barbarians. Vektal is out hunting when he comes across Georgie. He can’t understand her and vice versa, but they make due. His Qui resonates for her which means she is his mate.

The Story: Georgie and the girls are dropped by the aliens onto the ice planet when the ship has some sort of technical difficulty. Georgie is chosen to go in search of anything she can find to help them since most of the other women were hurt when they crashed onto the planet.

After Georgie and Vektal find each other, they work together to keep her warm and she is able to get it across to him that there are other women that need help. The narration was dual POV and it was very good. For the genre, I really liked the back stories about the Qui and saving all the women. Of course there were plenty of steamy parts as is common in this genre.
