Audiobook Review: Torment (Feral, #3). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Torment by Nora Ash

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

He sacrificed everything for me.

The beast who took me against my will and tied my soul to his so tightly I can no longer breathe without him.

He sacrificed his freedom. His life.

For me.

They say love will make you do anything, give anything.

But what’s between him and I – it isn’t love. It’s a bond.

And my destruction.

Torment is the third book in Nora Ash’s suspense-filled Omegaverse serial, Feral.

Please note: This series gets dark, and it gets dirty. If you don’t enjoy your romance scorching and your alphas rough & dominant, give this book a pass.

And they lived happily ever after…

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎧🎧🎧🎧
Romance: 💋💋💋💋
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 👨🏻👱🏻‍♀️🧔🏻👱🏼‍♂️

The heroine: Lillian – unwilling but now bonded mate to #351, she was used, tortured and nearly raped while stuck in the research facility in captivity.

The Hero(es): Zach (a.k.a. 351) – he is a Navy Seal and an Alpha that was on death row for killing his superior in the military under suspicious circumstances. He refused to submit while in captivity until he made Lillian his mate, when they used her against him.

The Story: Zach was able to stage an escape from the research facility and he got Lillian out, but was shot in the process. Since then he has been tortured and drugged to a feral state where he barely understood language and was more animal than man.

The narrators were the same as in the second book, Despair. I liked the voices. The male had a deep voice that was perfect for Zach and the female sounded intelligent, yet had a softer voice which made it believable that she was a scientific researcher and submissive.

In this book Lillian was free but Zach was being tortured more than ever before. Lillian finds her way to the Alpha that Zach told her to go to for help. I don’t want to give up the story, but I enjoyed it and there was no cliffhanger on this one.
