Gabe.

Sexy, badass protector with some interesting sexual proclivities.

Isabella. Mother of two and currently filing for divorce.

One night at a bar brought them together, but could Gabe opening the door the morning after actually tear them apart?

He’s not ready to walk away, yet she’s not sure she’s ready to move on. Before he even realizes it, he’s falling for her and her adorable hellions.

He’ll do anything to keep her, including following the unorthodox advice from Knight.

Gabe

Gabe and Isa!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💋💋💋💋💋
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📙📕📗📘
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 👨🏻👱🏻‍♀‍🧔🏻👩🏻

The heroine: Isabella – little sister to Cazzo (Sam). Isa just left her husband and moved into a house closer to her brother Sam. Sam takes her two children for the night so she can unpack. After having a glass of wine, Isa decides to go out and pick up a man instead of unpacking.

The Hero(es): Gabe – in the past his co-workers have thought he might be into men, because he walked in on Hunter and Lucy in the act and just kept watching. So what? He likes to watch, he really wasn’t just staring at Hunter like they guys told Hunter.

The Story: Gabe picks up Isa at the local bar and finds out in the morning that she has two young children and is in the process of getting divorced. After spending some time with all three of them he decides that having a family doesn’t sound as bad as he originally thought.

This series gets more funny with each book you read. The guys think their women are complicated beyond belief and have all sorts of opinions on how to handle different situations, especially when you are just falling in love. The women think the men are out of their depth and need direction.

“Because men are ridiculous. See, they can’t actually think on their own. Their brains are so simple that they don’t know how to do something that’s outside their comfort zone. Give them an engine to fix and they’ll tear that thing apart and put it back together so fast your head will spin. But hand him a ring and suddenly he doesn’t know what to do.”

Gabe is a great guy all around, but he definitely has never dated a woman with kids before, actually he can’t remember the last time he actually went on a date. He is more at home with how he met Isa and is usually a one and done kind of guy.

The book is both super steamy and utterly hilarious and the more I read of this series, the more I want. I can’t wait for the next book!
