Consumed by Deception by Rina Kent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
My husband. My monster.
The truth isn’t always what it seems.
Lia doesn’t realize that, but she will. Soon.
I chose this life. This road. This twisted arrangement.
For her, I made a deal with the devil.
For her, I toyed with fate and death.
There’s no going back.
I stole her and like any thief, I won’t return her.
Lia is my addiction. My obsession. My love.
Mine.

Terrific conclusion to the series!

The heroine: Lia – Adrian’s wife. She has recovered her memory and now knows that she is Lia and not Winter. Though her mental stability is still a bit tenuous. She still thinks she saw Winter standing in the window of the pool house though she knows Winter is in a coma.
The Hero(es): Adrian – He is a Bratva King and answers only to Sergio, the Pakhan. He is ruthless and immoral and can’t seem to keep his mind off Lia. He is in the information business for the Mafia. He has a network of hackers and spies that can get him all the information he needs on his enemies, his partners and also on Lia. He might be in trouble with the Bratva if they find out that he killed their Mayoral candidate because he touched Lia.
The Story: There is so much between Adrian and Lia. He is a sadist and she a masochist. They love each other but each of them has reason not to trust each other. They are hiding things from each other yet they can’t stay away from each other. Plus they have a 5 year old son, Jeremy that they both love.

In this book, all the secrets come out. I like that everyone finally finds out about Luca and what a bad guy he is despite him being Lia’s childhood friend. This book is sizzling hot and quite a wild ride. I won’t give anything away, but this series is terrific if you like a broody, possessive and dominant Hero.
The narrators are terrific. The female has a great voice which fits Lia perfectly and she does other voices just as well. The mail voice is just as good. It is nice and deep and he does well with the Russian accents. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook!
