Tequila Rose by Willow Winters is now live!
He tasted like tequila and the fake name I gave him was Rose.
Four years ago, I decided to get over one man, by getting under another. A single night and nothing more.
I found my handsome stranger with a shot glass and charming but devilish smile at the end of the bar. The desire that hit his eyes the second they landed on me ignited a spark inside me, instant and hot. He was perfect and everything I didn’t know I needed. That one night may have ended, but I left with much more than a memory.
Four years later, and with a three-year-old in tow, the man I still dream about is staring at me from across the street in the town I grew up in. I don’t miss the flash of recognition, or the heat in his gaze.
The chemistry is still there, even after all these years.
I just hope the secrets and regrets don’t destroy our second chance before it’s even begun.

Meet Willow
I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.
And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a reader and it motivates me to push through and keep writing. I couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful career.

My Review of Tequila Rose
Tequila Rose by Willow Winters
My rating: 4 of 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A triangle but not!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚💙💜🧡❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📘📗📕📙
World building: 🌏🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 🙂🙂🙂🙂
The Hero(s): Brody – he is an entrepreneur who is opening a brewery and a bar in the South Carolina island community that Magnolia grew up in.
The heroine: Magnolia – she is a single mom with a 3 year old daughter. She has gone through some very difficult times, but is coming out on the edge of them now and is making a life for herself and her daughter.
The Love Story: Four years ago Brody was mourning the death of his grandfather and had a one night stand with the Magnolia who told him her name was Rose. She had just been dumped over the phone by her high school sweetheart whom she had dated for 5 years. She got drunk and in the morning got a phone call that made her run back to her hometown.
Brody moves into Magnolia’s home town and they recognize each other immediately. Neither had forgotten about the one night they spent together. Brody immediately wants to date Magnolia and she wants to tell him about her daughter. She had tried to find him after she discovered she was pregnant but wasn’t able to remember where the house was where he was staying and she didn’t know his last name.
The story was a good one. Magnolia has something with Robert, her old boyfriend but it is unclear what her feelings are and it seems a bit shady on his part. Though it is obvious when Brody comes into the picture that she wants him. I was unclear as to what was happening a lot of the time and most of my questions were answered in the end, but I think this could have been one book instead of two. It seemed short (Amazon says it is 242 pages), they went fast. I would have guessed it was at least 100 pages less than that.
It just seemed a bit dumb that magnolia couldn’t tell Brody about her daughter when it was such a small town and much of it centered around the fact that nothing is secret in a small town where gossip abounds. So if she wanted to be the one to tell him, she should have just done it on their first date. Though I will give Brody credit for not wanting to know what the town gossip was about Magnolia and wanting to find out about her himself.
