Wife For Him. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wife For Him by B.B. Hamel

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blind date? Try blind wedding.

I’m about to marry a total stranger—and find my mafia princess.

Lifting Cora Leone’s veil is the hardest thing I’ve ever done—and kissing her is the easiest.

All we need to do is show the city that our marriage is the real deal and the alliance between our two families will hold. Unfortunately, she hates my guts, and her cousin forced her into my marriage bed.

I never knew I wanted a bride, but Cora’s changing my mind one night at a time. Too bad her broken past makes it impossible for her to open up.

She’d better try, or else she’ll fight me to the grave, and bring both our families down with her. An old rival resurfaces and wants to destroy everything we’ve built—and he’ll succeed if she can’t learn to work with me.

I’ll tame her, take her, keep her safe, and show her how a true mafia man fights and falls in love.

Get ready for a wild ride! Cora’s got a backbone but too bad Reid knows what he wants and will do anything to get it. Wife For Him is a steamy possessive romance with no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA.

Wife For Him

Another terrific mafia romance!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ❤️💙💜💛💚
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 👤👤👤👤

The setting: Philadelphia

The Hero: Reid Marino – part of the Volkov crime family. Reid’s boss Hedeon, asked that Reid marry a member of the Leone crime family to cement the partnership between the two families. So Reid agreed to marry Cora Leone sight unseen.

The heroine: Cora Leone – niece to the head of the Leone crime family. Forced by her family to marry a man she didn’t know. She is not at all happy about it and she shows it.

The Love Story: Reid and Cora get married to satisfy their families, and Reid is happy because Cora is beautiful. Cora on the other hand, has issues with all Mafia men because of her past and no matter how handsome and friendly Reid is, she sees him as no better than the Monsters she grew up with. However as time passes, the chemistry between them heats up.

I really liked Reid in this book. He wasn’t as rough as some of the other members of Hedeon’s crew from recent books. However, he was a tough guy who has no problem with killing. I thought it was funny that the guys from the Leone crime family (Vincent and Dante) who were the Heroes of their own books, were huge jerks in this book. Cora is Vincent’s cousin and he is terrible to her.

The story was great though and you can always count on B.B. Hamel books to have a terrific story and plenty of steam. I loved the romance between these Cora and Reid. Reid was a bad guy but a nice man. He treated Cora well. B.B.’s stories are never boring that is for sure.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
