My review of The Havoc We Wreak
The Havoc We Wreak by Becca Steele
My rating: 4 of 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Steamy and Suspenseful!

This was a nice ending to the story of Caiden and Winter. There was a lot of mystery and intrigue throughout the trilogy, but most of it was wrapped up in this book. There is still a few questions regarding some of the supporting characters but those are definitely meant for the other books which will be the stories of the other three members of The Four.
The storyline in this series started out with Winter moving to town supposedly to start bonding with her mother Christine who had never been in her life, but since her father died she had nobody else. It wasn’t long before she met The Four who are the big men on campus that everyone wants or wants to be, two of them being her new stepbrothers. They took an immediate disliking to her because they didn’t like her mother who started an affair with their father before their mother died, and Winter looks a lot like her mother.
Caiden blamed Christine for his mother’s death and so in the first book he took it out on Winter. It wasn’t until The Four found out she was only there to find proof that Christine killed her father. The guys suspect Christine is up to something sinister so together they have been trying to gather enough proof of what she is up to and what she has done. Caiden and his brother Weston are also trying to figure out if their father is involved or if he is just being taken for a ride by Christine.
In the previous books, things had gotten pretty dangerous when Winter was researching something at the docks and was taken hostage. Someone freed her by killing the guard, but they left her at the hospital and she has no idea who it was that saved her and why they want to stay anonymous. So that is something else Winter and The Four are trying to discover in this book.
The supporting characters are all back from the previous books and The Four live in a house together near the college campus so they all play big roles in this book. This book is more romantic and quite a bit steamier than the last two. Caiden and Winter are in lust and in love and can’t seem to get enough of each other. The chemistry between the two main characters is definitely a factor in this one. I would say this has a heat index of four out of five flames 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and I recommend all three of these books.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
