Fallen into Hell
Sophie goes to Hell and meets two hot fallen angels!

This book was great! It had a terrific story and was super steamy. Exactly what I love in a book! Technically you don’t have to read Fallen Melody in order to read and understand what is going on in this book, but there are plenty of references to what happened in that book. I think they were explained enough to let you know what had happened without having to read that book first, though I did like that book also. Fallen Melody was about a fallen angel who falls in love with two guys that own a vet clinic in a small town in Canada.
This book is about one of Melody’s friends, Sophie who has a sister that has been in a coma for years. There is a sinister organization called The Alliance which portrays itself as a force for good, but in reality they capture beings like fallen angels and the hidden (other supernaturals) and have labs that experiment on them. Sophie was shot in the last book and she recovered but she learned a lot about the supernatural world, including the fact that there is a Hellgate in New Mexico where the boundary between Earth and Hell can be breached.
Sophie is determined to go to Hell and make a deal with the Devil to heal her sister Annie, sort of like the crossroads bargains we have heard about in popular media. Sophie can’t speak due to damage to her vocal cords sustained in the car accident that put her sister in a coma. Though she can communicate in sign language and she often writes down what she is saying for people that don’t know sign language. Armed with a gun, a pad and paper and other necessities in a backpack, Sophie finds her way into Hell.
She discovers that getting to the Devil will not be as easy as she had hoped when she comes across lesser demons that hang out around the Hellgate trying to escape. However, two fallen warrior angels find her. They live in hell and patrol the Hellgates in order to protect humanity by killing demons trying to escape.
These fallen angels are Sin and Death, otherwise known as Adrian and Thanatos. They fell from heaven because of Lust. Sin is a cocky flirt who loves women and Death is a huge brooding guy who doesn’t speak much but Sin always seems to know what is going on in his mind. They are quite a pair and they are into BDSM with the women they bring home. Adrian and Thane love the fact that Sophie isn’t stick thin, they like a girl that is soft and they both are extremely attracted to sophie. So the book gets super steamy pretty quickly.
There is also a side story about the Hunters who are a group of humans and hidden who fight against the hidden that are bad and also against The Alliance. Adrian and Thane have worked with the hunters in the past. The hunters have a fairly large storyline and it will be even bigger in the next book and will include Adrian, Thane and Sophie. I can’t wait to read that one. This one did end in a cliffhanger but wasn’t so bad of one that this can’t be considered a stand-alone. What I mean by that is that the ending of this could technically be considered an ending. In my mind at least.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
