Great Vampire Romance!
Very interesting story about a former Vampire Prince Nicolas who teams up with a human Anna, in search of the Vampire Aleksander who murdered his father and took over the Throne. Anna is looking for Aleksander because she saw him murder her best friend’s father and on the same day, her friend disappeared as did her own abusive father.
Aleksander took a step back. “Remember what I said, Nicolas. Try to be on your best behavior, or I will give you reason to be scared.”
Without another word, he turned and walked away.
“What did he mean by that?” she asked.
“He means he’s a dick,” was the curt answer Nicolas gave her.
Anna needs answers so she can stop looking over her shoulder and fearing that her father will come after her at any time. Also she wants to know if he friend is alive or dead. At first Nicolas plans to use Anna as a pawn or sacrifice, not caring if she lives or dies as a diversion while he is able to sneak onto the palace grounds and kill the king. However the more time he spends with her, the more he decides he doesn’t want her to die.
