Single Dad Can’t Get Enough by B.B. Hamel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars.
I’m a single dad. I protect what’s mine.
And Kim woke something up in me.
Something that needs to be satisfied.
Now I’m taking what I want… and taking care of her.
When a young, stunning girl moves into the guest house I’m renting out, I figure I’ll just keep my distance. No need to complicate my life even more.
But Kim brings a troubled past with her. More trouble than just that perfect, tight body and lips that beg to be kissed.
I can’t stay away. I haven’t felt like this in a long time. Kim makes me want something physical and I can’t just ignore it.
But I got my daugher to think about. My little girl is the center of my world.
Still, I can’t turn my back on Kim. She needs my help more than she’s willing to admit, and I need her way more than I even realize.
I’ll bring her into my life, into my house. I’ll let her meet my daughter.
And I’ll take care of everything she needs.Single Dad Can’t Get Enough
But first, she has to give herself to me. Or else we’re both doomed.
Single Dads can be just as hot as bad boys when they want to be!

I enjoyed this sizzling book about a girl settling down in a small southern town after being on the run. Kim finds a home in the small cabin she rents behind the plantation house that Erik, a former Homicide detective from Chicago is restoring for himself and his two year old daughter Annie. The story has mystery, danger, romance, and a heck of a lot of steam between the two main characters.
The storyline was unexpected in that Kim was not running from a normal situation such as an abusive family or an obsessive ex. She grew up in a cult in California and got away by taking off with some money, which she technically earned but women weren’t allowed to access. So you could say she stole it. Though cults don’t care as much about things as they do about their people leaving the fold. So eventually some people from the cult track her down.
Kim is forced to stay in the main house with Erik for her own safety and that is when the attraction between them heats up. I was afraid for a few minutes there that Erik might be one of those guys that just couldn’t get over the loss of his wife, so he wouldn’t be able to give in to his attraction and this would end up being one of those tortured love stories.
I was so happy to be wrong and after only a slight blip to get over being attracted to someone else for the first time since his wife died, he jumped in and became involved with Kim and the heat index went straight to 5 flames out of 5 after that 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. If you like a hot single Dad who knows what to do in the bedroom, and in the living room, and in the shower, and even in the woods, you will enjoy this book! He also remodels the entire house and his daughter is as cute as can be.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
