Jack (For The Love Of A Good Woman, #1)

Jack by Giulia Lagomarsino

My rating: 5 of 5 stars.

I’m driving along when I see a woman sitting in a puddle on the side of the road. I stop to help her and instantly need to have her. Our chemistry is explosive, quite literally. It seems we are going to have to repair a few things. She’s feisty and sexy as hell, but I keep screwing it up.

This day couldn’t get any worse. All that’s left is for lightning to strike me. And then it does, in the form of sexy mechanic, Jack. If I could keep my wits about me, I might survive him, but I seem to have verbal diarrhea around him. He brings excitement into my life and sex to my books.

Awesome 👏

Terrific book. Romantic and hilariously funny. I enjoyed all the characters and it was realistic too. I especially enjoyed the friendship between Harper and Drew. I know that people often say men and women can’t be friends like that unless the man is gay, but I have had a guy friend like that. I just wish I could get a guy like Jack.

Maybe I could go over and lick his neck. Just a little nibble. I bet his skin tastes salty. I could run my tongue up his neck and then nibble on his earlobe…. I was snapped out of my fantasy when he laughed and I could swear a blush was creeping up his neck. “Do you always say what you’re thinking? Because what you’re suggesting sounds pretty good to me.”

One thing I really love in romance novels is the first meeting between the two main characters, and that meeting in this book and really the whole time between when they first meet and they go their separate ways after that first meeting is completely awesome. It is hilarious and completely sexy. I loved it. That alone was worth reading this book.
