Audiobook Review: The Perfect Fit by Sadie Kincaid. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Perfect Fit by Sadie Kincaid

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Dark Why Choose Romance.

One wannabe writer from Brooklyn.
Three insanely hot billionaires.
One very indecent proposal.

West Archer, Ezekiel Cavanagh, and Xander King. AKA The Unholy Trinity. Ruthless. Ambitious. Intimidating.
With dark tastes and even darker desires, they’ve been searching for the perfect woman to fit into their unique lifestyle for over a decade. But despite their best efforts, none have made it past three months. Believing they’re destined to never find the one, they swear to stop looking.

Until they meet Lily.

There’s something about Lily Sloane, something that captivates all three of them. For the first time ever, it seems like they may have truly found the perfect fit. But as we all know, there is such a thing as too good to be true.

Lily Sloane isn’t the penniless girl from Brooklyn they think she is. And with a past full of secrets and lies that she’s trying to escape, the unholy trinity might have bitten off more than they can chew. When trust is broken, is there any way back?

The Perfect Fit is a dark why-choose MMFM romance with lots of angst, emotion, betrayal, and enough heat to melt your kindle. This book contains grumpy/sunshine, sword crossing, an epic grovel, and a HEA.
Content warnings include: CNC, knife play, blood play, primal play.

The Perfect Fit

Decent standalone reverse harem audiobook!

Romance: 🖤💙💜❤️

Character development: ☹️🥲😋😘
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Lily Sloane – she works in New York as a bike messenger, though her bike is on its last legs. The magazine she writes freelance for was recently bought out by another company. Lily has a hidden past which she doesn’t like to think about. “She has so many secrets that sometimes she forgets what the truth is supposed to be.” She has spent a large part of her life surrounded by ruthless men who do awful things.

The Heroes: West Archer, Ezekiel Cavanaugh (a.k.a. Zeke), Xander King (a.k.a. Fitch) – they are billionaires known as the unholy trinity. They are three of the richest and most important businessmen in the city, as well as best friends and business partners. They live together and have been searching for years for a woman to fit into their unconventional lifestyle. They are bisexual and want a woman to add to their trio. They have found women in the past who they thought were going to be a perfect fit, but none of them have lasted. They can’t handle all three men, and especially the kinks that Zeke enjoys.

The story: Lily was a child the last time she saw West Archer, when she has to deliver a package to him. Luckily, he didn’t recognize her. He and his partners were responsible for the takeover of the magazine she works for, the magazine that is about to give her a big break. The guys all met Lily separately when she came to the office with the delivery and then when they see her at the nightclub they own, they find that they are all attracted to her and want to try again with her.

The intimate scenes were very hot, though there were too many of them, I would like a little more story with my smut. This one gave the requisite background information at the beginning, then got into the steamy scenes pretty quickly and for quite a while it was just one after another. When the story about Lily’s background finally started, I was happy to see that her secrets came out quickly (to the reader at least). I kinda hate it when secrets are dangled in front of you over and over but don’t come out till near the end. I ended up liking the story, though it was nothing new and original.

This audiobook was told in multiple points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Maxine Mitchell, Aaron Shedlock, Grayson Owen, and Bryant Walker. I love it when they have a separate narrator for each main character. All of these are good narrators, with nice expressive voices. They do a great job. Maxine Mitchell has a quality where she always sounds a bit nervous or anxious, but I really like her voice.
