Hazel has one thing on her mind when she arrives at her coven’s supernatural mixer: find a big and hairy creature to make her forget all about her bar’s latest troubles. The hottest club in Los Angeles may be stealing her customers, but for one night she wants to ditch her responsibilities and indulge her fantasies.
When relief unexpectedly arrives fur-free and with fangs, the witch gets more than she bargained for. An anonymous one-night stand becomes a whole lot more complicated when it’s with a mind-reading vampire… especially when Vlad might be the one responsible for her nightlife nightmares
Short and steamy!

Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine: Hazel – she is a witch and she owns a bar called the Witch Hazel in Los Angeles. She is getting eaten up by the competition lately, so she decides to drown her sorrows at her friends monthly supernatural mixer. She plans to get super drunk and maybe make out with a hot shifter.
The Hero: Vlad – he has a faint eastern European accent. He has black hair and dresses in all black, evoking every vampire fantasy Hazel has ever had. He is at the mixer and hiding away from an Orc who wants to talk his ear off, and he finds Hazel.
The Story: Hazel takes a potion which makes her want everything that Vlad can give her. He is more than happy to oblige her. This book was very short, only 3 hours via audiobook, so I was a bit surprised at how much story there was, though there was a lot of steam as well. These two got together early and throughout the book. Hazel also finds out something about Vlad that she wasn’t expecting and it causes a bunch of strife between them.
This audiobook was told in multiple points of view and was narrated in dual narration by Sierra Kline and Aiden Snow. Sierra has a nice, sultry voice that works well for romance and Aiden Snow is one of my favorite male narrators. He has a deep, sexy voice that I love and he always does a fantastic job. The book was pretty good for being a novella. I liked the paranormal aspects, though it did get quite smutty as well.
