The heroine: Emma – she works as a cocktail waitress in an upscale night club to help support her mother and her teenage sister who has been ill and may soon need dialysis. Though she would like to make more money so she could help them get more than the bare minimum. She could make more as a dancer, though she doesn’t know if she is willing to do that or not.

The Hero: Christian – He is the billionaire owner of the club and is a known player. It is no secret that he has asked many of the waitresses and dancers up to his office for a quick fling. When he notices Emma for the first time after she has been working in his club for a few weeks, he is instantly interested in her as she is exceptionally beautiful. He asks her up to his office and has her bent over the desk within minutes. Though surprisingly he is still interested in her and after a few weeks, has to force himself to stay away.

The Story: The way this book started out; I didn’t know how it was going to get to the Hero wanting a baby. Especially since he was such a dog with the women who worked for him. Then I started to get it when his family didn’t approve of his lifestyle and his revolving door of women. Though I thought he would just have her as a fake girlfriend, so it was a surprise when he blurts out that he wants to hire her to have his baby.

I ended up liking the way this one went. The relationship between Chris and Emma started out so hot and steamy, I was afraid it was going to be insta-love. However, things cooled down for a while and they really started to get to know each other and appreciate the little things like holding hands. I liked that as much as the steamy scenes. I liked both characters as well.
