Audiobook Review: Beauty and the Beast (Interstellar Brides Program: The Beasts, #3). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beauty and the Beast by Grace Goodwin

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

No one denies the beast.

I am a Warlord. A beast.
An assassin for the Intelligence Core.
Even so, I’ve been sent to Earth for a simple mission: Find a mate.
I hold no hope. Who would want me? I’m scarred… inside and out.

But one look at the human beauty and there is no question, she’s mine.
When she is taken from me, I will use all my training to save her from my enemies.

Nothing on Earth—or any planet in the universe—will keep me from her.
She. Is. Mine.

The heroine: Quinn – she is a meteorologist at a local news station in Florida. She works in the same building that produces the Bachelor Beast reality show. The show is taking a different direction since the first two bachelors found their mates outside the female contestants. This time there were five beasts who are trying to find their mates. Quinns friend and makeup artist wanted Quinn to go and get a look at the 5 Atlan warriors. Quinn already knew she was attracted to the scarred one called Bahre.

The Hero: Bahre – he is an Atlan warrior who was part of the IC (intelligence) and worked for Doctor Hellion. The doctor gave Bahre enhancements that made him one of the most dangerous beasts in the universe. He and his team fought the hive and other enemies and did a good job. He had a lot of enemies including a group called Cerberus.

The Story: Quinn had a stalker, an ex-boyfriend who was an actor and liked her fear. He had followed her when she moved to Florida, and she had taken out a restraining order on him. Though after Bahre interrupted her newscast to claim that Quinn was his mate, it got broadcast everywhere and resulted in Quinn getting kidnapped by Bahre’s enemies. Bahre contacts Dr. Hellion and his team to help him rescue Quinn.

I really liked the storyline about Bahre and his team. His past with Dr. Hellion who isn’t a good guy. There was a lot of action in this one and it was interesting from the start. I liked the characters, and the world building was good. This was the best story in the series so far.

This audiobook was done in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Tor Thom and Mia Sloane. Tor Thom is a terrific narrator and I really like his super deep voice. It works perfectly for the eight-foot-tall beasts in this series. Mia Sloane has a very pleasant voice and is also a very good narrator.
