Review: Nanny for the Mercenaries by Cassie Cole. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nanny for the Mercenaries by Cassie Cole

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Three rugged mercenaries. One lucky nanny. And a globe-hopping adventure that will test the limits of their love.

I was only venting about my career problems at the gym.
I never expected the two hot military guys in the squat rack to overhear.
And I definitely didn’t expect them to offer me a solution.

A chance to nanny their daughter Kaylee for two months.
A trip to three exotic locations around the world.
And the opportunity to really get to know these chiseled soldiers-of-fortune.

Jordy, the all-American boy-next-door type who’s quick with a joke and a smile.
Archer, the sarcastic blond Englishman who eyes me when he thinks I’m not looking.
And Harrison, the grumpy, bearded redhead who wants nothing to do with me… at first.

During the day, I watch their daughter while they’re out on their dangerous missions.
And at night, us four adults find sizzling new ways to entertain ourselves.
Can we all stay safe while they complete these contracts?
Or is there an unknown danger lurking just beneath the surface?

NANNY FOR THE MERCENARIES is a sizzling military reverse harem love story filled with humor, suspense, and scintillating action. HEA guaranteed!

Nanny for the Mercenaries

Much better than I expected!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🖤💚❤️💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍🌎
Character development: 😚😔🤓🥰😘

The heroine: Trish (a.k.a. Kettlebells) – she is a nanny who is currently between jobs and having a hard time finding a permanent gig. Meanwhile she is working part-time as a barista at Starbucks, she didn’t mind the job but hated her boss. She regularly works out at her local gym with her friend Lisa and has a bit of a crush on one of the guys that she sees there, she and Lisa call him and his friend Brownie and Blondie (for their hair color).

The Heroes: Jordan, Archer & Harrison – they are former military men who now work for themselves, taking on the missions they want and setting the price for the jobs. They have an eight-year-old daughter named Kaylee.
Jordy (a.k.a. Brownie) – he is handsome and muscular, his job as a mercenary requires him to stay in shape so he works out every day. He also has a great sense of humor and is confident but not arrogant. He also has a habit of falling hard for girls he is interested in.
Archer (a.k.a. Blondie) – he is British, handsome and muscular. He works out every day with Jordy to keep in shape. He was a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force before becoming a mercenary.
Harrison – He is hot-tempered and comfortable with violence. He doesn’t like outsiders. He was in the US Army prior to becoming a mercenary, and he was once betrayed by a woman he was having an affair with.

“We are a group of skilled contractors who, on occasion, facilitate the movement or disposal of goods or persons.”

The Story: when Trish gets up the nerve to ask Jordy out during a workout session at the gym, he is stoked since he has been crushing on her for a while, but then he remembers they have three jobs coming up in a row and will be out of the country, so he has to decline. However, he keeps thinking about what he overheard her say about being an out of work nanny. He and his friends will be overseas for two months on their missions and need someone to watch Kaylee. Jordy decides it would be perfect for Trish and Kaylee to be with them, though not on the jobs themselves, they would stay in the nearest major city.

I won’t go into the details of Kaylees birth or which of the guys is her father, but I will say that she calls all three of the guy’s dad and they raise her together. It is actually a very sweet story and I really liked how much they all loved her and wanted her to be with them all the time. This story was super steamy and really funny at times. I was laughing out loud on the regular while reading it. I also enjoyed the intrigue.
