I don’t have time for love.
Yet after a bomb threat, who do they send to watch my house at night?
The hottest young cop in the city.
Anthony is a cocky young Capitol Policeman who smiles like he knows all my secrets.
And after the night we spend together? I know all his too.
But he’s not the only one assigned to protect me.
Ethan, the steel-jawed hunk who looks more like an MMA fighter than a personal bodyguard, shows up the next day.
And the two of us already have a secret history.
Then Agent Luca Santos, a grizzled Secret Service agent with experience in his eyes, is assigned to my detail.
Now it’s one big beefcake slumber party.
How am I supposed to focus on my campaign with these delicious hunks watching me all day?
The only thing more difficult than keeping them off my mind…

Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘

Character development: 😟🤭😤😘
The heroine: Elizabeth – she is a promising 35-year-old Senator from Ohio on the rise in Washington, D.C. political circles. She was single and couldn’t date publicly or have casual sex with a man without being hounded by paparazzi. So, to scratch her itch and get a release from all the stress she had in her job, she had a contract with an exclusive escort firm with specific instructions that allowed for anonymity. Elizabeth was on the Senate Finance Committee and with her recent birthday, she is now old enough to run for President.
The Heroes: Anthony – he is a 25-year-old Capitol policeman, who doesn’t always follow the rules. He is arrogant and brash and goes after what he wants. He is enamored with a pretty Senator, and he may have some slightly stalkerish tendencies.
Ethan – he is a private bodyguard that comes highly recommended, and he also moonlights as one of the most elite and high-priced male escorts in D.C. He has a bit of an obsession for one of his clients that always wore a mask to cover her identity. The mask also included eye coverings, so she never saw him either. She liked it a little rough and so did he.
Luca – He is a Secret Service agent who has seen it all while protecting 3 different presidents in his fifteen years of service. After accidentally walking in on a senior cabinet member in the White House doing inappropriate things with a young intern, he was reprimanded and reassigned to protect a junior Senator.
The Story: After a bomb threat at the capitol building, a creditable threat agains an anonymous female Senator, Anthony is sent to watch over Elizabeth. Earlier that same day he made a pass at her thinking she was an aide or some type of assistant since she was so young. Though he quickly found out she was a Senator, and he did love a woman with power. So, he didn’t mind watching over her Condo for the night. They hooked up, but the next morning someone tried to kill her. That is how she ended up with three different bodyguards.
The one thing I didn’t like about this book was the risks Elizabeth took. I mean whenever a political sexual scandal comes out involving a Senator, Congressman or Candidate, the first thing I say is why can’t politicians keep it in their pants for the few years they are in or running for office? I mean in the grand scheme of things four or even eight years is not a long time to stay away from hookers or possible scandals. Granted Elizabeth is in her prime and any sex, even with normal person might end up a scandal. Though if she dated someone, it might be newsworthy, but wouldn’t really be a scandal if they slept together.
“So, I’m not judging you. But having kinky sex with male escorts in hotel rooms is the kind of thing that sinks a political campaign.”
