Dirty, filthy, good!

The heroine: Ella – she is a microbiologist and the company she works for has her sharing a home with a flat mate that also works at the same company. His name is Nicholas and he seems to hate her and everything he does. He is working on a cure for cancer and works a lot, he seems repressed and complained the one time she went from the bathroom to her bedroom in only a towel, he rebuffs all her offers of friendship and seems annoyed no matter what she does, how much she cleans, when she makes dinner and when she is just laying around the house.

The Story: Ella is pent up after eight months of living with Nicholas and she is about to burst. The walls are thin so she finds it hard to even see to her own needs while he is around as she is afraid he will hear her. One day on her way home from work, she sees that a circus has come to town and the hot, muscular man pounding in the stakes of the big top peaks her interest, especially after she finds out that the traveling circus is really a traveling BDSM club.

The Heroes: Hunter, Nicholas – Hunter is the owner of the adults only circus that comes to town and when he meets the shy Ella, he immediately wants her for himself for the night. He gets her to divulge all the things she desires and brings her into the big top. This is where her roommate Nicholas sees them and reveals that he has wanted Ella from the first day they met and if he has to share her with Hunter, he will in order to have her for a night.

I liked this book from the start, especially all the dirty talk. It seemed all of the main characters were exceptionally good at talking dirty, especially Hunter. He is well able to communicate every filthy thing he would like to do to Ella and surprisingly enough, the uptight Nicholas has no trouble in that area either. Nicholas had some things that drove him to act the way he did to Ella, but the night together brought everything out into the light.



Though the idea of a traveling circus themed BDSM club that would be allowed to set up in any of our local neighborhoods is a bit crazy and outlandish, I did like the storyline. It was imaginative and fun. The descriptions of all the things inside the big top were terrific, including the carnival games with BDSM themed prizes and the way each ‘scene’ is a show for the voracious onlookers. It was certainly an original concept.
