Review: Surprise Baby For My Fake Fiance: A Billionaire Enemies to Lovers Romance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Surprise Baby For My Fake Fiancé: A Billionaire Enemies to Lovers Romance by Bella Chandler

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When forced to go on a last minute business trip with my new Boss, the nightmare quickly turns into a dream for the awakening of my “Single mom” libido. Arnold Kingsway is a Billionaire Mogul turned philanthropist. He is arrogant and demanding, but absolutely intoxicating.

A hotel mishap leaves us with only ONE room and a really big bed.

Upon check-in, I loathed his presence…but by nightfall, the city’s most eligible bachelor is nestled between my thighs.

A press event causes a major scandal for his business deal, and now the only way to repair his image, is to pretend to be his fiancée for the next three months.

Living the high life proves to be complicated as I move with my daughter into his house, attempting to “play” the role of the perfect family.

But an unexpected visit to the doctors office becomes a game changer, as my pregnancy test turns out to be positive.

What was fake is now very real. But is this notorious Bachelor ready to be a baby daddy AND a Stepdad??

Surprise Baby For My Fake Fiance

Cute, but not the best!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🖤💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗
World building: 🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 😠😘🤓😃

The Hero: Arnold – he is a billionaire businessman and a philanthropist. He is your standard billionaire, who is worried about having the best of everything, from his shoes to his watch to his Ferrari, and he has a different trophy girlfriend on his arm for every event he attends with his personal bodyguard in tow. Though he is passionate about his philanthropy and working with the welfare department, he is also aware of the tax breaks and how things like that make him look good.

The heroine: Fern – she is a widow and a single mother of a three-year-old girl named April. She works hard at the welfare office, often working late nights and has a babysitter watch April while she is at work. She doesn’t get out very often but would like to have someone to come home to and keep her bed warm. It has been quite a while since she has been with a man.

The Story: Arnold is attracted to Fern from the first meeting. She thinks he is attractive, but she has a bit of a problem with rich men who fund projects like this to get publicity. She thinks he is all about ulterior motives, especially when he says that he wants her to be his liaison at the welfare office for his project. Fern is none too happy that she has to put aside her regular case work for his project.

I have to say that from the start, I couldn’t get the main character’s names off my mind. I mean what kind of romance writer thinks “what is a good name for a romantic Hero and Heroine? Oh, Arnold and Fern are perfect!” I mean the only thing you can shorten Arnold to is Arnie and that is even worse. And Fern? Could you get more boring than that? But hey, it isn’t my book.

There were a few other things that bothered me about this story, one was that they live in New York and are doing a project for the welfare department, but they have this big business trip to Cancun Mexico during Spring Break. They are there for a week, attend lots of meetings, but there is no real explanation for the meetings or really about their project. The world building could have been better in this story.

Also, everything was just a bit too neat and wrapped up a bit too nicely for me. I didn’t really even understand the purpose of her getting pregnant since it happened at the very end and seemed to be just an afterthought. That wasn’t even why they met again or got back together. It was just a bit weird to me.
