The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙💚💜💖

Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎🌍
Character development: ☺️🙃😳🥰🤓
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration
The heroine: Lana Myers – she is a revenge based serial killer who is after just about everyone in the town where she grew up. She is now dating the FBI supervising special agent who is in charge of the case and they are both in the town where she grew up. Him, to find the killer and her to kill the rest of the names on her list.
The Hero: Logan Bennett – He is an FBI profiler who is tracking a killer and is now in the town where all the victims once lived to find out why the serial killer is after the residents of the town. He and his team profiled the killer to be after revenge so they want to find out what happened ten years ago and who would be seeking revenge.
The Story: The road is not smooth for either of the main characters since the Sheriff of the small town is like a cult leader. He owns everything in town and has a monopoly on most businesses. He even controls what the townsfolk see on TV. He has them thinking they are righteous people, and he is hampering the investigation at every point. Along with Agent Johnson, who is the grandfather of Logan’s profiling unit and was the agent who was behind the arrest and conviction of Lana’s father for serial killings that went on ten years ago.
The agents are getting ever closer to finding out who the killer really is. So many things came to light in this book. Though even while that is going on, Lana’s plans are being furthered. The story was certainly fascinating. I really have been hoping that Lana will be able to finish with her revenge plot and get every single man on her list. I just can’t get over the fact that she is so much like a female Dexter, of maybe she is more like Lumen from that same show.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Marie Hawkins and TJ Clark. Marie Hawkins has a very nice voice and I like her more as the series progresses. TJ Clark has a nice gravelly voice which isn’t as deep as I usually like, but that means his female voice is a bit better than most.
