Another by Fiona Cole
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The first time I saw him, he entranced me and offered to help me forget my broken engagement.
Another
The second time was on a blind date with no last names and undeniable passion.
The third time, I was eight months pregnant with his baby he knew nothing about.
This time he’s not letting me walk away so easily.
Sweet surprise!

The heroine: Carina Russo – not too long ago she was engaged and happy, but now, since her fiancee Jake abandoned her for a man. She is dating again and not too happy about it. She missed her old fearless self. She is the heir to Wellington and Russo. She has worked hard on advancing her marketing career, but something is missing in her life.
The Hero: Ian Bergamo he is tall, muscular and sexy. He is quirky and a bit of a philistine. Also, he is arrogant, dominant and can be quite the dirty talker. He was haunted by thoughts of the woman he had a one-night stand with six months ago.
The Story: Carina goes on an unconventional blind date to do boudoir photographs. She is surprised to find that it is with Ian, a man she had hooked up with on the night she realized her relationship with her fiancee was over. They are attracted to each other and both of them are happy to see each other. They both got the portrait sitting for a Christmas present and the photography session is catered toward couples on a first or blind date.
The photography session was super steamy. Ian and Carina nearly broke all the rules while being photographed and finished in the dressing room as soon as the photographer left them alone. Carina walked out after that. She liked how Ian made her feel, a bit too much given what she had been through with her fiancee. Six weeks later, Carina takes a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. She didn’t even know Ian’s last name.
I really liked Carina. She had eight months where she couldn’t find Ian, so she had all kinds of fantasies where she would one day see him again, they would find out they were in love and live happily ever after. Yet the reality was so different. She walks into a meeting one day full of the heads of her client and sees that Ian is one and another is a girl that may or may not be his girlfriend if the hurt look on her face has anything to say about it.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Jo Raylan and Teddy Hamilton. Teddy has a great voice and is one of my favorite male narrators. He always does a terrific job. Jo Raylan has a clear, feminine voice and is great at showing emotion through her voice. As a whole this was very pleasant to listen via audiobook.
