Review: Sociopath: Legacy (Sociopath, #2). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sociopath: Legacy by Lime Craven

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reach for the scars…

Remember me? Aeron Lore: happy and humble. A people person. All around nice guy.

Even I can’t say that with a straight face.

But seriously, things are going great. Leo’s behaving herself; I’m enjoying making sure she behaves. We’re a great team. SilentWitn3ss, our live-streaming news project, has launched to my favorite things ever: controversy and profit.

So when the FBI comes to me and wants to use SilentWitn3ss footage to trace a serial killer named Blood Honey, I’m only too happy to be superior—I mean, to help. And if Leo thinks the brutal Blood Honey and I have a few things in common, I guess that’s to be expected, given my rather unique preferences in the bedroom. My…condition.

But I’m not like him. I can’t stand that she would even think it.

If his actions threaten my relationship with Leo, I’ll hunt that fucker down myself.

If he gets too close for comfort, I will make him bleed—and trust me, he’s closer than I ever anticipated.

There’s a food chain, grasshoppers. The buck doesn’t stop with him. It stops with me. Blood Honey is a nasty son of a bitch, but I can be a lot worse. Question is…do I want to be?

Sociopath: Legacy

Steamy, exciting and suspenseful!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🤎🖤❤️💜
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌏🌍
Character development: 😠☺️😋😎🥰

The Hero: Aeron – he is a sociopath and definitely knows it. He fakes his way through life, pretending to care about things he doesn’t, he is able to hide and to fit in with the rest of humanity and has learned to do it well. He is a media mogul and owner of a global news empires. Aerone has some deviant sexual desires and has found the woman that is perfect for him.

The heroine: Leo – she is also not what she seems to be and dropped some huge bombs about herself near the end of the previous book. She is more devious than we originally thought and she is very intelligent. She almost got the best of Aeron but now they are together, and they know everything about each other.

The Story: the first book was about the crazy twisted love affair between these two characters, the second is as well to some extent, but it is also about a serial killer that is killing women in New York. He does it in a way that is eerily similar to what Aeron likes to do to Leo in bed and what he once did to Rachel Forham when they were in high school.

At first Aeron is excited about the serial killer (well he is a sociopath) and serial killers make great news headlines. But soon the killings lead to Leo having trouble dealing with the deviant things Leo likes to do to her (blood play). After they discover the killer is actually trying to frame Aeron for the killings, things really start to heat up.

“Can we just clear this up once and for all? I’m not a serial killer, in case you haven’t noticed. Any time this guy is supposed to be out slicing and dicing, I’m not just with you, I’m usually inside you—”

The first book, Sociopath was told from Aeron’s point of view except for one chapter. This book is told from both Aeron and Leo’s points of view and it also delves further into both of their pasts, what made them who they are and what brought them together. Like the first book, this was a re-read for me, I read it first about 5 years ago, and since I read an average of over 400 books a year, I didn’t really remember much about the story, other than the fact that I really liked it. This time, it kept me on my toes and guessing about what would happen next as well as who the killer really was.
