Fake Fiancé/Secret Marriage/Drunken Vegas Marriage Mistake

This was a good novella. It was a fake fiancé/secret marriage/drunken Vegas marriage mistake trio. Sometimes you get more than you bargain for in these books. It all came together quite nicely though, and worked well with the way the story was written.

Based on the length of the book and the timeline of the story, the two main characters, Ethan and Peach fall for each other very quickly. The plot device in romance is called Insta-love and some people love it, some people hate it.

I personally tend to think that millions of people IRL confuse lust with love all the time, so I tend to think of it in books as insta-lust, which may or may not turn into love. However, in the world of HEA’s we are supposed to assume that everything works out ok so it turns into love.

The story, aside from the insta-lust is pretty detailed. Ethan and Peach spend time getting to know each other, so they can pass as a couple, not two people who just recently met. She has dreams of opening her own business and he sees that and recognizes her talent. They have hot kisses that turn steamy. There are obstacles in they way, so it is not all easy going. Overall a very good story and great characters.
